Tournaments

Pokémon society run regular Pokémon tournaments for a variety of skill levels.

Most tournaments use the Swiss style mechanism for scoring. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw, zero for a loss. The player with the greatest amount of points at the end wins.

Some of our events use the elimination method instead, players who lose a match are eliminated from the remainder of the main tournament. Participants are still encouraged to challenge other players, even if they have been eliminated.

Everyone is encouraged to take part in our tournaments, it doesn’t matter if this is your first or you’ve participated in the official championships.
