President and Tournament Organiser

I'm the president of Pokésoc, and a competitive VGC battler! I'm also the tournament organiser, and plan to host tournaments for various games in the franchise, and for all skill levels! My favourite part of Pokémon is teambuilding and battling with friends, as well as attending competitive events such as Regionals and Internationals.

My favourite Pokémon is Flutter Mane because of how strong and reliable it is in battle.

Hi, I’m both the secretary and publicity officer of the society! I really enjoy shiny hunting and enjoy doing it to pass the time along with Pokémon unite! I manage the Instagram and will be keeping the society connected throughout the year! Its hard to pick just one favourite but I’d have to say Eldegoss! Just friend shaped! (currently 1500 encounters for the shiny hunt!)

Inclusions officer

Hiya! I'm Alex, the Inclusions Officer, and a first-year Computer Science student. I do a bit of everything in Pokémon, including competitive play, as well as more casual events. My favourite parts of Pokémon are the strategic and social aspects; I love games of strategy as well as meeting new people. My favourite Pokémon has been Salamence ever since I won a society event with one last year. 

As the Inclusions Officer, I aim to make this society a place where everyone can have fun and meet new people in a welcoming environment.

Treasurer

Hey I'm Ronan, treasurer for the society. I mainly manage how the society spends our budget and other things like that.

I'm a big casual fan that likes a bit of everything Pokemon related, although I am woefully bad at battling. This year, I'm starting an Omega Ruby shiny-only playthrough, so feel free to catch me at socials trying to do those DexNav chains. 

My favourite Pokemon is Scizor because I used it (and only it) for most of my first ever playthrough of Platinum. He's also very cool and red.

Pokémon Go Officer

Hi I'm one of the Pokémon GO officers and I mostly play Pokémon GO. my favourite part about Pokémon is Pokémon GO and Legends Arceus, I can't wait for the next Legends game cos they're the most fun to me. My favourite Pokémon is Excadrill because it's used in speedrunning certain games which I have some interest in, and I like its shiny.

Hi I'm Chantelle, 1 of the 2 Pokémon GO Officers of the society. As a Pokémon GO Officer, I help to run our Pokémon GO socials that we hold on Sundays. 

It's so difficult to pick a favourite Pokémon, but I think I will choose Magikarp (I am a Magikarp Jump fan).
